Something In Your Eyes

When you look in my eyes, friend, I am so much more than before; I simply evolve like a planet the sun has discovered. Now unafraid of the light, I know the warmth of the living, awakened by a gift you are humbly willing to share. But, no, it is I who has the sun finally found; it took one look from your eyes, friend, which smile into mine. Can this be a meeting of souls on the same orbit, realizing each other as the true Presence of Love?

And when I look in your eyes, friend, I see all that you beautifully are; you have your dreams and your courage and the grace to know heaven. And how grateful I am for the shower of light on my face, as if an explosion of stardust bewitching my eyes. Yet, friend, it's not magic that brings our spirits together; it's something like gravity, more natural and binding. It is something in your eyes that I need to see, a reflection of God's love for someone like me.
